Maria Elena Bello

 Maria Elena Bello is an American actress from the United States. Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (1999), Coyote Ugly(2000), The Cooler(2003), The History of Violence(2005), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor2008 Prisoners2013, Grown-Ups2010 and Lights Out (2016) are among her roles in films. On TV, Bello appeared as Dr. Anna Del Amico on the medical drama ER (1997-1998) and also in additional starring roles, including Lucy Robbins on the series Touch in 2013. She also starred as Michelle McBride on the first season of the show Goliath in 2016, and from 2017 through 2021, as Special Agent Jacqueline "Jack" Sloane on the series NCIS. Bello was the child of Kathy Bello (a teacher and school nurse) and Joe Bello (a contractor). She was born in Norristown on April 18, 1967. In the seventh grade at Villanova University, she majored in politics. Following graduation, Bello honed her acting skills through a variety of New York theater productions. Bello has a son Jackson with her ex-boyfriend Dan McDermott. Bello was 18 when she wrote about her relationship with Clare Munn in November 2013. She published a book entitled Whatever...Love Is love: Questioning the labels we give ourselves (Dey Street Books April 28, 2015).
